We are NOT opening a booth at RANtai 2!

Hello again people,

So I was flipping through yesterday's The Star, and to my horror I saw Kurasaraksasa's name under Booths for RANtai Merdeka, happening at JayaOne. (Click)

I'm sorry, but WE ARE NOT OPENING A BOOTH OR SELLING ANYTHING during RANtai 2.
Despite that, do go for the art event and support your local artists (be it musicians, painters, poets, whatever).

Kurasa Something Video

The long-awaited Kurasa Something Video!



Many thanks to Fairuz Sulaiman who edited the video in time despite his busy schedule, and to all of us, John, Arif, +wondermilk, Ifzan, Dzu, Shamly, Ena, Arafat, Deepset, Lord Sunny Day and the Cover Ups, and those who came.

Sorry for the super-late update, I thought one of my gundiks would do the honour of updating the blog when I had no internet access, but no, I guess they're not honoured enough to do it.
Oh well.

Kurasa Something di Wondermilk gathered a decent and humble crowd, not too crowded, so it was just nice. I keep on telling people that the event kind of reminded me of a scene in Be Kind Rewind, a humble get together.
Thanks to those who bought their paintings, and their hand-painted tshirts. We'd like to give a round of applause and appreciation for the proud owners of 13 artistic tshirts (chewah).
I believe the Kurasa Something di Wondermilk tshirt is still available in Wondermilk, so grab yours now! I mean, NOW!

Thanks also to wondermilk for giving out free cupcakes and, get this, 10% of the cupcake sales on that day to the Autistic school! I was obviously delighted by the kind gesture.

All in all, despite the rain and all the other events happening that time, Kurasa Something was awesome and to those who didn't make it. TOO BAD.

Updates on Kurasa Something!!!

Went to the school last week for preparations and on Thursday, the kids painted on the tshirts and 3 canvasses.
The parents and teachers have been really supportive, and the tshirts turned out very nice.

The auctioning of the tshirts and canvas will be on the 7th of June, we know there's going to be a lot of gigs and weddings happening on that day, so we're hoping for a great turnout.

Heya! Kurasa Something is back again, bigger and better this time around with the help of Wondermilk!
The charity event will be happening on the 7th of June at the Wondermilk Cafe (for those who still don't know, it's at Uptown Damansara).

Kurasaraksasa! is also 1 year old already! It's been a fast moving year for all of us, we've had a whole lot of arguments, blood, sweat and tears shed, we're definitely not the best peoples to work together, but thank God we've overcome our differences little by little. I'd like to thank all my teammates for making Kurasa happen, GG, Ben, Naim, Irna, and to all those who have supported us along the way, be it our fans, friends we've made, and also those who have helped us out with events. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
